Norwood Makers Collective

What we do

Norwood Makers Collective seeks to connect neighbors in Norwood with new residents through crafting and making programs with the mission of building an inclusive community through shared interests in crafting, making, and other creative outlets.

In addition to working on our own projects, we are inviting professionals to teach new making and entrepreneurship skills. Our funding comes from generous contributions from the community, as well as sales of our products at local craft fairs or consignments at local stores. We actively actively collaborate with organizations such as Catholic Charities of Southwestern Ohio, Refugee Connect, Norwood City Schools, Roselawn-Condon Public Schools, and Cincinnati Compass.

During the pandemic, our group is continuing to connect through Facebook and by exchanging craft kits, and our latest initiative is 100 happy mail days. Please read more on our IG account, @norwoodmakers.
