What we do
Baby Bear celebrates life and aims to provide parents, grandparents, and other guardians of Norwood children, from newborn to 5 years old, the resources they need for their children to grow up in a productive, healthy, and safe environment.
We provide free diapers and other baby necessities, community meals, and assistance in preparing kids for Kindergarten and education beyond.
Since re-starting Baby Bear in 2018, we have served 139 unique individual families, and over 79 volunteers have served at the “free shop.” We have also been able to bring on one paid part-time staff member.

Parenting Resources

new and used clothing, toys, books and more for kids aged Newborn to Five years!

Join us every second Wednesday (6:00pm)
of the month for free community meals provided by Grace United Methodist Church!
Kindergarten Prep
Baby Bear can help connect kids and families with Norwood Ready Kids, which aims to prepare kids for Kindergarten and beyond!
